Hens love the strangest foods!!!

As well as being little kitchen tidies who will eat all sorts of scraps, hens also love watermelon. I bought a piece yesterday and they demolished it. They are now feeling well and truly at home in their new coop, they run to the gate when they hear the back door open (food, food, food, they cluck). I have also planted some silver beet which I am told they are extremely fond of, and the dark green vegies make for golden yolks.
